George W. BushTSPE Endorses Bush

The TSPE Board of Directors voted on June 15 to endorse Texas Gov. George W. Bush for U.S. President in the November general election. The action follows a similar endorsement of the Texas governor by the Political Action Committee for Engineers.

TSPE Executive Director Gerhardt Schulle, Jr., said the TSPE board's endorsement will be shared with boards from other states. Schulle also pointed out that TSPE/PACE previously supported Bush in his bid for governor.

TSPE White Paper

TSPE has prepared a white paper to be presented to the Special Commission on 21st Century Colleges, urging additional funding for engineering programs to meet the demand for engineers in the Texas economy. Read the White Paper
