October 22 - Travis

Where music, technology, and engineering come together.

Join the TSPE Travis Chapter for a behind-the-scenes tour of ACL Live at The Moody Theater - home of Austin City Limits, the longest-running music series on television.

This is more than a venue walk-through. We’ll look at the systems that make a world-class live production possible: broadcast-grade audio and lighting, isolated structural slabs designed so cameras stay steady during tapings, the control room, green rooms, and the iconic stage that has hosted nearly 50 years of performances.

Members, colleagues, students, and friends of the profession are welcome. Come see how engineering helps Austin sound like Austin.
