Situational Leadership

“Leadership is any attempt to influence.” This famous quote by Dr. Paul Hersey summarizes his approach to adapting your leadership style to be most effective.  Every business needs leadership. Leadership is one of the ways that managers affect the behavior of people in the business.

Situational leaders are able to adapt their leadership style to fit their followers and situations in which they are working.

Do you want to grow in your leadership?  Do you want to see others grow in their leadership as well?

This seminar is for you!

We will learn:

  • How to adapt to an effective style of leadership that fits the readiness level of the follower
  • How to recognize our own individual strengths and areas for development using the language of the SL Model
  • How to conduct effective coaching conversations by understanding what style to use with individuals at each level of readiness
  • How to influence up, down and across the organization
  • How to create more productive teams/organizations by accelerating the development of individuals that are new to their role and/or are learning a new task
  • How to develop engaged, committed employees

Not only will you learn and actively apply these concepts personally, but you will do so networking with old and new alumni friends through PELI.  The session will reinforce your PELI learning and help you continue to move forward as a vibrant leader in your organization.
