Jim Greer, P.E.

2022-2023 TSPE President, Fort Worth Chapter
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Oncor Electric Co.

Why are you involved in TSPE?

I joined the Texas Society of Professional Engineers soon after starting my professional career. My involvement in TSPE is what introduced me to the broader engineering community, and what has allowed me to develop a professional network that crosses many disciplines.

Through the years, it has become increasingly clear that TSPE is unique in working to preserve the integrity of the professional license, as well as reinforcing the criticality of ethics in our profession.

The main focus of my Presidency will be to enhance the value of membership in TSPE to existing members, and develop and implement strategies to attract new engineers as they enter the workforce.
