Member Spotlight - Priya Mistry
Priya Mistry, P.E.TSPE Preston Trail ChapterMunicipal Project Manager, Cobb, Fendley & Associates, Inc.Why are you involved in TSPE? In 2017, I became an active member with the Preston Trail Chapter, because the chapter’s president took the time to make me feel welcomed. Over the years, I have held numerous positions and currently serve as the chapter’s Finance Chair. I am fortunate to have experienced NSPE’s Emerging Leader Program and seize the opportunity to expand my leadership skills with PE Leadership Institute (PELI), Class 11.
How do you define career success? In years past, I would have said career success meant winning a project, gaining a new client, taking on more responsibility, receiving a promotion, getting more involved in the industry and community, and so on. While these are all great aspirations and opportunities to look forward to, I no longer view success this way.
Bio
I was born in Illinois, but after a few years and moves, the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex became my home. My husband and I feel blessed to call DFW home where we continue to create and share memories.
