Ronke Osibajo, P.E., CFM, ENV SP

TSPE Greater Houston Chapter
Gulf Coast Utilities Lead, HDR, Inc.

Why are you involved in TSPE?

I am inspired to connect with individuals from various engineering backgrounds as their interactions ignite my creativity. Being part of this community of dedicated professionals enriches me personally and professionally. Our passion for our professions powerfully enriches our local communities and advances society.

How do you manage work/life balance personally or within your company?

I aim to keep my work tasks simple by breaking them down into manageable modules and setting time constraints for completing each one. My ongoing involvement in mentoring and recruitment provides me with enjoyable breaks from work while still allowing me to be productive. I am passionate about classical arts, especially music, and frequently attend performances by the Houston Symphony, Houston Grand Opera, and Performing Arts Houston. I find a comforting and inspiring connection between the creative aspects of civil engineering and music composition. Additionally, I never miss my monthly spa day and often indulge in an extra massage therapy session in between.
