![]() 2025 RTX National MATHCOUNTS Competition Congratulations to Nathan Liu for winning Written Competition Champion and National Countdown Round Champion, and to our Texas National Team for winning 11th Place Team at the 2025 RTX MATHCOUNTS National Competition held in Washington, D.C. from May 10-13, 2025. The Texas National Team consists of: Nathan Liu (St. Mark's School of Texas), Ayush Narayan (Rice Middle School), Shaheem Samsudeen (Rice Middle School), and James Stewart (Evergreen Preparatory), coached by Sheryl Perkins (Ereckson Middle School). MATHCOUNTS is a nationwide program that promotes math excellence for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. It is a math skills competition program based on higher skills development with a series of progressive competitions at local,

TSPE has a growing number of student chapters and offers a free student membership to college engineering students. Our local chapters are also available to speak at Career Days and participate in other programs by request.

The Texas Engineering Foundation is a charitable foundation established by TSPE in 1967. A donation to TEF helps support many of the programs they do such as MATHCOUNTS and scholarships. More text needs to be added in order for the rectangles to line up. Become a Member and Help Support Future Engineers.
By joining TSPE you can get involved in programs for students such as volunteering at MATHCOUNTS. Through TSPE you can build a multi-disciplinary network and community of other professional engineers.
